The closing Day of the New Challenges+ project, co-financed by the EU’s DG Employment, was held at the Stanley Hotel in Athens with a large participation. Its theme was “New challenges brought by the pandemic to work, employment and information and consultation”. In addition to the presentations of OBES and the Association of SA and Ltd companies, which presented the situation in Greece, the experiences and knowledge gained by the partners FAI CISL and CONFEDERDIA from Italy, FETICO and CEIM from Spain and zbb and ver.di from Germany were also exposed. Issues such as the digitization of processes e.g. elections and telecommuting, changes in the legal framework and their impact on the functioning of trade unions as well as intergenerational differences in the workplace were examined.
